Oh my gosh, I heard through the grapevine that "the proofreader" at Wilson RMS had suddenly died. I was hoping it wasn't Daniel and am very saddened to learn that it was. Daniel and I shared an office at Wilson several years ago and had kept in touch--although sporadically--since I'd accepted a position at another agency. He was a very nice guy who cared deeply about doing an excellent job. He also had a good sense of humor. My heartfelt condolences go out to everyone at Wilson RMS and to Daniel's family as well. I know that he is missed.

Nice list. Although the most annoying for me is the new corporate catch phrase "bandwidth."

Ooh, Makes me shrug everytime I hear it in a meeting.

I have DISH Network and a Sling adapter connected to my receiver and I was surprised to see how many devices that this work on with DISH. I know Comcast customers can only watch live TV on the iPhone and iPad but they cannot take in anywhere and everywhere like I can now. As a DISH employee I can tell you the DISH Networks DISH remote access is a free app that you can get at our website and this will also allow you to set your recordings and watch them from your mobile device.

Dave, you think you're addicted now, just wait till you learn about "angry birds."

To think that at one point (not too long ago) there was no internet. Pretty soon we might be able to download skill sets (Matrix). Hey, why not.....

TV, like the rest of communication, is finally becoming more convenient. DVRs launched 11 years ago and gave us TV anytime (and the ability to skip commercials). Agressive adoption took about 5-6 years for that product. My kids don't know a world without it. Now it will be interesting to watch this new trend and see how fast adoption takes place and how it affects viewing habits and choices.

Sometimes, we are just waiting for the right choice to show up. As an avid fan of my HTC Incredible, and an early adopter, I am just waiting for the tablet that has Android or Chrome OS to jump in. It would help if it could really replace my laptop, since every time I travel to South Africa I lose a laptop to virus or power surge. In this case, choice does not depress response, I just don't have the desired choice yet. And I am willing to wait for a platform I have grown to count on.
